Mercury Dime Amulet Necklace

This stunning handcrafted amulet necklace features five authentic silver dimes. Minted between 1916 and 1945 in the art deco style, the dimes depict a winged liberty head with a quiver of arrows on the obverse. Over time the coins became known as Mercury Dimes, and the figure came to represent Hermes or Mercury, the messenger god of merchants and travellers. These are some of the most iconic and beautiful coins in American history. The five silver coins are suspended from a signature beaded chain.
