Helios Hoops
Helios embodied the sun in ancient Greek and Roman mythology. He was the great and glowing sun itself and the bringer of light and warmth. An ancient guardian of oaths and the god of sight, he shone upon the earth each day from a golden horse-drawn chariot that he rode across the sky. Helios was usually depicted full of youth and wearing a glowing crown that shone with the light of the sun. Inspired by these depictions the Helios Hoops are in the form of circlets that frame the ear with a sparkling halo.
Scarab
These substantial scarab pendants have been formed in solid sterling silver and yellow gold and set with precious gemstone eyes. Modelled from a genuine beetle, each scarab in the collection has incredible texture and intricate detail on all sides. In ancient Egyptian mythology, scarabs were associated with the divinity of the sun. The scarab represented the creation, transformation, and renewal of the universe, and they were commonly used by ancient Egyptians as protective talismans in life and death. The collection encompasses pendants, necklaces, and earrings.
Amulet
The Amulet collection features unique and one of a kind gemstone, rock, fossil, coin, curio pendants. Most pieces in the collection are available with a detachable clip bail for easy pairing with chains, beads, and pearls. Alternatively, they can be purchased as a necklace, attached onto one of our signature beaded chains. An amulet is an object that has been imbued with special properties to aid and protect the wearer. The objects in this collection are not just beautiful specimens but powerful energetic talismans for meditation and magical intention.
Pantheon
In ancient mythology the pantheon referred to all of the gods in a particular religion. Derived from Greek, it literally means ‘of all gods’. This selection of one of a kind rings represents a tangible pantheon for the modern jewel enthusiast. Each ring features unique and extraordinary stones that have been carefully and individually selected by Edie for their exceptional properties. All of the pieces in this collection have been designed and made by Edie in her studio.
Signet Rings
A collection of sterling silver signet rings featuring relief and glass enamel cameo portraits. This ring was one of the earliest designs for the brand. The signature silhouette is modeled on our founder Edie Charles using the aid of computer design software and 3D printing technology to produce a perfect profile in miniature. The design was inspired by Edie’s love of antique cameos and memento-mori silhouette portraits. These classic motifs combined with cutting edge technology to produce a stackable heirloom design with futuristic precision.
Crotalia
Deriving from the Greek word for 'rattle' the Crotalia Collection by Edie Charles Jewellery features dangling drop earrings in various stones and styles. The gentle movement of the beads creates a beautiful auditory experience for the wearer. These elegant and effortless statement earrings are made by Edie in her studio with 9 carat yellow gold.
